I Don't Have Any Idea What I'm Doing However, I Am Willing To Learn...

When the epidemic hit us, it brought feelings of a rush of reorganization and very swiftly to be in place. Pretty much everyone just went with the flow and watch everything just fall into place some accepted, some had challenges and for some it was business as usual no real change as their home to work is the norm for most. If you are reading this article then you just ought to send praises up above as you made it safe and protected!  Thank God, Allah and whatever your higher power maybe, give up  the praises of Thanks as we are still here.

Prior to writing this article as always I ask God to give me the words that will help me and others as I go about my day. As it cost nothing to be kind and encouraging you can never lose only gain, a better understanding of a loved, a spouse and or partner, friends, business partners and wonderful everyday people of consumers life long connections. Isn't that just priceless?

Most don't believe that having faith in a higher can't be real, or if your perception of what they call God for whom they believe in may differ, it can cause a bit of a debate, let's just say; but when you know like many of those of us who believe know that yes, the Lord has given us all that we need so he has given us promise. It's what we do with it that will make the greatest difference in our journey.

It brings me to a bible verse, Colossians 3 and Acts 18, as I enjoyed attending bible study and Sunday church service and would often take notes for me to review when I had some down time to give to God and grasp the understanding of this thing called life. Here I will share my personal notes with you and I suggest that you take some time to read it for yourself if you haven't already to get what you need from it should you choose too.

The New Life

Seek things which are above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God not earthly things. For ye one dead and your life is hid with Christ in God separate from the earthly action people for which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.

And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

Many still don't believe in the power of the name Jesus, I was raised up in church just as many other's and I raised my children up in church also but every individual comes to a point in their life where you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and that's when most find that God's ways and his words aren't bad at all they just require self discipline and sometimes sick and tired will force you into self discipline if your not there are ready.  Don't get me wrong being self discipline doesn't come without it's challenges either, however the difference is what we do in the moments when we get to be sick and tired of being sick and tired day in day out with no change and or no idea how to find, create and or make a way towards change.

John C. Maxwell has a book, The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, in which he writes,

"Growth doesn't just happen.

Life is now in session.

Are you present?"

Do you have an intentional plan for your personal growth?

Throughout the life journey I am not sure how many really have an intentional plan for their personal growth as much as they would like to think, yet it's part of the growth process.  All I know is that for me my parents had already created a path in which I was to go and that lead me to the serving others in the field of human services in a variety of areas and it wasn't that it was the most highly paid profession but it is a respected profession one with far and few rewards and or appreciation for the services and or assistance provide, yet it's all worth it if just one person say's thank you for helping me, or see's you in the community and is excited as they update you on all the wonderful changes and or pits falls that they have over come to bring changes to their life, simply priceless.

Now don't get me wrong serving people doesn't come without it's challenges as just as God created good people he also created difficult people also, we like to say your life skills testers, as they will test every ounce of your being that will make your very grateful that you have a relationship with God and that he will take care of them too, ooh Lord Jesus. No seriously, very challenging yet have gifts to be brought out also they just have to want to do it.

I learned early in my career, that if you take pride in what you do, do your very best and treat people with respect even when they may not respect you back. As it could be a part of my learning and my culture and I for one am grateful for it as it has served me best in my craft. Having a bit of compassion and understanding of life it can become easy to see beyond the mask that many of us wear everyday. Many fear rejection, lose, being taken advantage of, even worse being abuse and or hurt by anyone person place or thing.

Many of us that are in the human services field probably could a test to the fact that we bring so much of our hearts to the field and the consumers, patients and or partners and family we will fight to the end to ensure the individual and or individuals we are serving get what they need to have a better life. Yet, even that has it's limits also due to the fact the human service worker's can put everything in place and set up every step but the  individual and or individuals have to walk the steps, to take the action for themselves. Required as in any service component must require if it intends to truly help the person's and or individual achieve skills that will sustain and maintain them.

What does human service have to do with growth?

It's a field where you can see individuals grow and mature, individuals fall a part and come back together, individuals recover, young people become parents, parents grow old and we deal with lose of life as it's part of the life cycle. All of the above process doesn't happen over night and neither will ones personal growth. The number is 100 people and only 5% will achieve success simply by the progressive realization of a worthy idea.

What get's in the way?

"Life, lose of life, spouse, job or the lack of, family, friends how you may view life and your role in it?"

In the book The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth pointed out some growth traps one can fall into.

* The Assumption Gap- " I assume that I will automatically grow."

* The Knowledge Gap- " I don't know how to grow."

* The Timing Gap- " It's not the right time to begin."

*The Mistake Gap- "In afraid of making mistakes."

* The Perfection Gap- "I have to find the best way before I start."

* The Inspiration Gap- " I don't feel like doing it."

* The Comparison Gap- " Others are better than I am."

* The Expectation Gap- " I thought it would be easier than this."

Throughout the journey of life many experience these growth gaps knowingly or unknowingly if you live long enough there will be a time period and or moment where these gaps may arise deep within you.

How do you move pass these gaps?

You just do it!

Sometimes in life you have to be your biggest motivator and cheerleader. A divine gift from God one would say. When you realize that all you have to be is you and it's nothing no one can do about it. Life truly begins, does it mean you won't experience the growth gaps well, no,  however you learn how to navigate through them yes.

When starting out in the network marketing profession it can appear very complex yet simple and even though your guided through, there could be periods of no concept of how to carry out the task needed, yes growth gaps but which one? There is the blueprint, outline, script to follow or build from ground zero scratch opportunities and a community of people just waiting for you to come aboard an join and cheer you in your growth into development of ones creative worthy idea into a full functioning legal respectable business with low cost, no over head, training and you can do it from anywhere and get paid for it even if you have a job and or career and help others do the same.

What an amazing life journey you can cross the line, stand up for who you know you are and take a chance on yourself. Wow, to God be the glory, it doesn't matter what gender, race or social class it's a choice life decision.  Yeah, life c

an have it's ups and downs yet in the journey taking a chance on yourself is always an option for some it's no other way to enjoy the journey.

What choices and or decisions have you made that have benefited your journey?

What have you asked God for that you haven't taken the steps to start?

What change would you like to see in your life happen today?

How one may view life can measure how far they will grow.  Does one have a "Fixed Mindset" or a "Growth Mindset"?  For example a "Fixed Mindset", if you view the world as being unfair and unjust and it is, in context areas, yet if you have the thinking that the glass is half empty verse half full, it could be growth gaps or the shear desire not to change and or the commonality of conformity.  A "Growth Mindset" always sees the glass as half full because they see experience and opportunity in every life event an it isn't always easy but they don't mind the work required to achieve the outcome.

Over the years on the journey one learned that change for any individual is an inside job that shows on the outside as the work is done daily intentionally.  So many probably haven't even made it this far and I thank you for your continue read. As one may have the desire to want to help everyone in the pursuit of happiness and the abundance of life. One knows that they can only help the one that is interested in helping themselves and one would be the bridge from one point to the other ensuring they have the tools that will help them along the way.

The book, Your First Year in Network Marketing overcome your fears, experience success, and achieve your dream, written by Mark Yarnell and Reid Yarnell is a tool to help navigate and or if you are considering Network Marketing as a new profession.

Here is a small exart from the book,

" We can't avoid crises, but we can prevent them from completely diverting our attention from our work by accepting each one as a stepping stone to both personal and business excellence."

Is that just profound and true in the life journey!
